I am having a problem with my kids' school teachers' web pages. The teacher web pages have homework, activity links etc. Many of them also have embedded Google Calendar. For the pages with the embedded calendars, the page itself loads, but is almost immediately redirected to the Google Calendar page. Hitting the back button takes you to the page you were on before trying to load the teacher's page. This happens in Chrome, Firefox and IE. It happens in both my kids' windows profiles but not mine. The pages load correctly for me. I have Norton Family active for both of them.
It took me a while to narrow this down. But it does appear to be caused by Norton Family. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Family software. When it is uninstalled the pages load as expected; when it is installed the pages start redirecting again. I have found that disabling the Norton Family extension in Chrome also allows the page to load correctly. Disabling the addon on Firefox also works. Haven't tried this in IE as we don't really use it.
Is there a way to load these pages correctly, while keeping Family installed and the toolbars/addon enabled? These are pages they need to access often.
