Norton Family Stops Working

Greetings All:  I would like to know if there is a solution to a problem where Norton Family stops working without notice.  I find that Norton Family will work for 2 or 3 weeks after installation and then it stops working.  The only way to get it to work again is to uninstall and then reinstall the program.  I do not get warning E-mails to say that the program is no longer functioning.  However, I do know that it is not working when I get an E-mail report as follows.  This reports shows no activity for my daughter and yet I know she has been on the computer every day.  Further, the time limits, blocking functions appear to be inactive.  Has anyone at Symantec come up with a solution to this problem?  I need to know if I should look for an alternative solution as this process is not working nor effective.  I would appreciate any information.  Thank you.
