First question: When I've set the time for my kids for each day, example 2 hours, do calls or texts to parents count "against" their minutes for the day?  

2nd: If they've exhausted their time, I've listed myself, and my husband as people they can still contact.  Can they still get texts and calls from us too once their time is used for the day?

Hi Huber,

For daily time limits, all calls and text will be counted including the ones listed in allowed contacts.

Once the time is exhausted, kids can continue making calls to contacts listed in allowed contacts. Messaging application will be blocked during this time.
