Within 1 week of installing, my kids figured out how to crash Norton Family.
1. Wait for Norton family warning box to count down that is is going to log them off.
2. When less than 1 second remains, they log out.
3a. If they don't time it just right, Norton gives them unlimited attempts to try again by allowing them to log back in for a short time.
3b. If they time it just right, Norton pops up a message box titled Norton Family: NF.exe - Application Error, with the following message: "The instruction at 0x000000006FC7476B referenced memory at 0x000000000000000. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program"
4. If they click OK, Norton restarts. They discovered that if they do not click OK, Norton never restarts, and they can do whatever they want for as long as they want with no monitoring of web activity or forced log outs.
