We are having problems trying to run an application that uses Microsoft SQL Server. Both the application and SQL Server reside on our server. The workstations use Norton Internet Security. When I try and access the application from my workstation, it starts to load, then times out due to an inability to reach/load the SQL Server components it needs.
I would like to try the Norton Firewall Diagnostics Wizard to see exactly what is going on and what I can do to resolve the problem. However, I don't see any way to manually run this wizard, or to access any logs it may generate. If the wizard runs automatically when a block like this occurs, I am not seeing any sign of it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. By the way, the workstations all run Windows 7 Professional SP1.
