Norton for Mac

I am contemplating activating the Norton for Mac. We have an iMac that's being used by two users with their respective log in accounts along with individual iPhoned and iPads. Will the subscription protect both users and respective devises?

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out on this.

Thanks,

Lootchnyc

Hello Yaso_kuuhl

First, thank you for your answer but still we do not know "when"

However if Norton is doing something in this matter so, fair enough, the only thing to do is wait :smileyindifferent:

By the way I'm fluently either in french or english :smileyvery-happy:

Vive le plurilinguisme! ;-)))

Alas, the answer to your question remains: we still don't know when. All you can do is keep an eye on announcements in the mac section of the forum. There is no fixed date right now - that's the only thing which is clear...So as you said, it's a matter of waiting...But it is known that good things come to those who wait ;-D

Given that Symantec are not able to deliver the required Snow Leopard patch, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask Symantec to extend the subscription period for this product equal to the amount of time the program is unusable in Snow Leopard.

I for one have just changed from Intego Internet Security X4 Platinum Edition to Norton Dual Protection for Mac (when I could have updated to the Dual Protection X5 version, which is fully compatible with Snow Leopard).

I'm now beginning to regret this decision...

Thanks for your reply.

However, I cannot see the link to the proper forum

Will you paste again or just give me the name of it ?

Thanks

The Windows product can be used to protect a Windows virtual machine on your Mac (in BootCamp, Parallels or VMWare Fusion), and can scan Mac disks on demand if they are shared with that environment.  But for full automative protection, I would recommend purchasing either Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh or Norton Internet Security for Macintosh.  There is also a Dual Protection product which contains both Windows and Mac products, but since you already own the Windows version, it would probably be less costly to just add the Mac product.

I recently bought Norton 2011 for my PC,

but then bought a Mac.

How do I use my Norton 2011 on my Mac ?

Could not find another place to post my message -- hope this works
