Greetings,
I have the three following questions, related to Norton Ghost 12.0. Even though this forum has not yielded any responses, even to singleton questions, I will attempt it one last time. If not, in spite of being a paying customer, I guess I will have to spring the fee for a phone call.
1. I used to be able to specify that a backup to CD could split the image into multiple files on each target CD. Somehow it can't seem to do that anymore... Any clues?
2. I believe it is possible to restore only selected files from a backup, and I think I tested this many moons ago,
but I would appreciate confirmation.
3. I recently attempted a backup which failed with error E7D10007 - "Cannot parse path". I was unable to find the
error and cannot understand why I can store the problematic long file names (that's apparently the issue) on the drive but not back them up.
In any case, any help will be appreciated.
Jean-Pierre
P.S. As a suggestion I would say that if a logical backup is possible of select application files, pehaps it would be
nice to do a similar selective backup of the registry entries pertaining to those files and/or applications.
