Attempting to run a Files and Folders backup on Windows Vista, backing up to a network share. This backup is scheduled to run each night at 1:00am and for the last 4 days has run successfully (although somewhat slowly). This morning I was greeted with an error message indicating that the backup failed: The full error message is:
-Error E4BC0012: An interaction with the catalog's database layer failed unexpectedly: sqlite3_step--5: database is locked.
I have rebooted and attempted to run this backup by hand - what I observe is that the backup seems to stick at 5% complete for over an hour, and then gets further along before failing. I've rebooted the machine, I've verified that the network share is accessible.
One thing I did yesterday was to search a different (older) backup for specific files - I opened the recover my files tool, and import my older backup destination (from an external USB hard drive) and searched for files I was interested in restoring. I don't know if the import of that older backup destination messed up my current backup definitions or if this error is unrelated.
Hoping someone can advise me how to resolve this problem.
