Norton Ghost 14.0: Replacing (more than one) Hard Drives

Sorry if it has been asked already...searched for hours but cannot find a "streamlined" answer/procedure I could follow with confidence. So, any help will be appreciated...

I have the following hard drives:

Drive1 (120GB) has partition C: & D:

C: has OS, 30GB. Partition size: 115GB, NTFS

D: has page file, 1GB. Partition size: 5GB, FAT32

Connected to IDE

Drive2 (750GB)

Partitions I: (250GB) & J: (500GB)

I: temp files, data only, 5GB used.

J: all data files only, 180GB used

Connected to SATA1

Image backup (base & incremental) of C & J drive available on a network drive.

Image backup of I can be created easily on a USB or network drive before I start replacing hard drives

"New Drive" (1.5TB)

Still in the box

Will connect to SATA2

Can use a USB adapter for partitioning, data transfer etc. until ready to be installed inside the computer

Computer can only accommodate two hard drives

Need to do the following:

1. Replace Drive1 by Drive2 and keep it on SATA1 connector

2. On Drive2, C: drive to be NTFS, OS, total size ~40GB (less than the current 115GB) but more than the actual used size of 30GB

3. On Drive2, D: drive to be FAT32, page file, same total size of 5GB

4. On Drive2, create at least one extended/logical partition of the remaining size ~ 705GB

5. "New Drive" will  take the place of Drive2 having I: & J: partitions but I: to be the same size of 250GB and J: to be the remaining size of 1.25TB

Once done, Drive1 will be "trashed" as I suspect a mechanical failure lurking....

Can someone help me with steps I should follow so as not run into issues with drive letters, OS boot etc.

Thanks in advance,

Anil
