My intention is to upgrade my 20GB HDD to a 250GB HDD for my Window XP Pro.
I was able to do a successful copy of my 20 to my 250 and then I shut down my computer to unplug the old one and start up with the new one. Upon the restart, I checked the BIOS to make sure that the new drive was the first boot device. After restarting again, I found that the system started up fine, but then got stuck at the blue Windows XP screen. I have thought it might certain peripherals I had installed, so I shut down and unplugged everything except the basic monitor, k/m and network cable. Restarted and same thing.
Did I do something wrong during the copy process or do something so that it will go to my login screen (there are two user accounts)?
