There are two hard drives on my machine: C: (Windows XP, Program Files, ...) and D: (My Documents, Norton Backups, ...). There were numerous backups made by Norton Ghost and all of them were placed to D:\Norton Backups. All the recovery points were listed in backup history and status.
At some moment, due to the crash of the system hard drive (C:), I was to replace this drive and then reinstall operating system (Windows XP SP3). Along with that, Norton Ghost 14 was installed again.
The problem is, that in this, new installation of Norton Ghost, the previous backup history and backup status are missing. 
It's very annoying!
But all the backup files (*.sv2i, *.v2i, *.iv2i) are still there, on drive D:, in folder "D:\Norton Backups" and valid.
Is there a way to restore the contents of Norton Ghost backup history and status panes, in case I know where all the backup files are located?
