I purchased Norton Ghost 14 a few months back and have been using “mostly” without problems but now I have found a serious problem and even the chat support can’t help.I am running Vista Ultimate 64bit and I use it to record TV using Media Center. This generates large files in the folder C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV for each recording. What I have noticed is that neither a Full or Incremental Computer backup (backup of drive C:) backup the files in that folder. So now, I am worried for a few reasons:1. What other folders or files haven’t been backed up?
2. Why can’t this folder be backed up? Are the files too big or is there some other problem?I have done a chkdsk and the drive is fine. There is ample space on the backup drive too. The files are not compressed or encrypted, neither are they locked by any program (I can copy/move/delete them in Windows Explorer without any problems). I verified that the files were missing by doing a restore a few times and exploring in the RecoveryPoint Browser. The files are not there and won’t come back. Each recording file is between 3 to 10Gb in size. I’ve also tried make new backups and they all have the same problem.If anyone can either explain why this problem occurs or give me a solution that would be great. Otherwise, this is a serious BUG in the program.Thanks,
