Heads-up..... another serious "feature"...

Applies to NG 14.0.2.26325

I added a new external drive because my original one, used as the default backup destination, was running out of space.

As recommended, I used Manage Backup Destination -> Move option to move all backups (file and recovery points) to the new drive. Even though I specified "move all recovery points" and "move file backup data", only the file backup was moved/saved to the new drive....

All recovery points were lost. I checked both source and target drives using Windows Explorer: nada, ziltch. No errors reported in the event logs. :smileysad:

After the 'move',  manage backup destination still showed the recovery point sets as part of the new destination but as unavailable.

Only path forward was to delete the unavailable rp's and re-run all backup jobs. And the final kicker is that not only did I loose the original recovery points, after the drive-based backup completed, norton also deleted the off-site copies. :smileymad:

Unfortunately this 'feature' as you put it is a bug.  Thank you for providing enough information so that we were able to reproduce it.  This issue has been logged with development and is now in the queue to get fixed.  How soon that will be unfortunately is not something I can comment on.

Please accept my apologies.  I sincerely hope the rest of your use and experience with Ghost is not so frustrating or gut-wrenching.
