Norton Ghost 14 will no longer backup C: drive after installing NIS 2009

Ever since I installed the upgrade for NIS 2009 my Norton Ghost 14 will no longer make a complete backup of my C: drive.  Everytime it starts the backup I get the following error.

 

Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: My Computer Backup. Error E0BB001B: Cannot lock volume \\?\Volume{25501ee9-f535-11dd-82a3-806d6172696f}\ because it contains the OS or has an active paging file.
Details: The volume contains system or paging files.

I contacted Ghost tech support through the Chat feature, he remotely connected to my system, worked on it literally for several hours to no effect and finally told me he was escalating my case and that I would be contacted within 48 hours.  That was a week ago and of course no one has ever contacted me.  How do I get support to get my Ghost 14 working again?
