Norton Ghost 15.0.0 Restoring recovery points

Norton Ghost 15.0.0.35659. I understand from another post that it's possible to restore recovery points. These points are not presently accessible because they were removed during an uninstall, and because the history has been wiped, they're not there after reinstall quite some time later.
