I have recently installed Norton Ghost on a Windows 8 Enterprise (v6.2.9200 Build 9200 RTM) laptop, however when I attempt to enter the valid license key it comes up with the message "Cannot activate this product using license key 05-....... The license key is not valid. Please enter the correct license key".

More questions than answers to start. Is this a new copy of Ghost? If so where did you purchase it? As an aside, I'm not sure that Norton has certified that Ghost is W8 compatible. That shouldn't enter into the key question. If this key has been used before has that copy of Ghost been uninstalled?
It was purchased back in November 2009 from the Norton store as it was then. It has been installed on a Windows 7 laptop, however the hard disk failed, and I've re-built the laptop with a new SSd drive, and as I belong to MSDN wanted to re-build it with Windows 8 RTM. However Norton Ghost 15 is the only product I'm now having issues with.
It's a known problem with Ghost 15 and Windows 8, it can't be activated and your stuck in trial mode.
I think there are a couple other problems as well, although the program may appear to work It does not support windows 8.
I'm not sure if it will be fixed or not but I understand Ghost 16 will fully support windows 8 and I imagine it will be available before the general release of windows 8.
Ok, many thanks for your replies, hopefully Ghost 16 will be out soon and in any event before the general public release of Windows 8 on 26th October!!
