I installed Norton Ghost 15.0 when I upgraded to Windows 7. When I try to do a full image of my C drive (approximately 50 GB of data) or my D drive (20 GB of data), the back up job will go to 75%, and then start a data verification of the recovery point. At this point the back up slows to a crawl, with progress going up 1% every 1/2 to 1 hour. Back up jobs will now take amost 18-24 hours to complete.
My laptop is an HP with Windows 7 64 bit, and 4 GB of RAM.
When I was using using Windows Vista, I had Norton Save and Restore, which completed back ups with no issues, usually taking no more than 5 hours to complete for thelarge C drive.
Does anyone know why the back ups are taking so long, and makes the program almost unusable for daily back ups?
