Hi!
I want to replace my 60GB SSD with a new Samsung 830 256GB SSD. After pluging in the new SSD the setup from the windows partition screen looks like this:
Datenträger 0 is the new SSD without a partition on it (not allocated)
Datenträger 1 is another harddrive (just programs and data)
Datenträger 2 is the old SSD. As you can see, there is the 100mb hidden boot partition from win7 and the partition C: with the actual OS.
As suggested in the manual I first use Copy My Hard Drive to copy the 100mb partition to the unallocated new disc, using these settings:
After that is finished I have to copy the OS-partition C:, so I use copy my hard drive with C: and again choose the unallocated space as target: .
Now I get an error msg:
-Error EC8F17B3: Cannot complete copying of SSD (C:\) drive.
--Invalid destination.
---Invalid destination.
(UMI:V-0-3215-6067)
and if I look at the partition screen again, the new SSD (Datenträger 0) is simply vanished. If I now reboot and look again the new SSD appears again, but now as invalid.
Any ideas how I can migrate my OS?
thanks!
