Please can someone give me the settings so i can get ghost 15 to email the back up reports, im on gmail but everytime i try and set it up it just comes back with error messages about starting TLS

Hi Pete,
Unfortunately, Ghost does not support TLS. If you look at the thread below you will find that Ghost 12 used to be able to connect via Gmail but this same workaround does not work any more. I suspect it is because Google is more stringent now on connecting via port 587 and will not allow any connection which does not utilize TLS. I can only suspect that at the time of this thread (May 2009) that Google did allow it.
Do you have an alternate email account which does not use TLS? As long as you specify your SMTP server to be something that does not require TLS, your email recipient can be your Gmail account.
For example I have comcast so I just specified smtp.comcast.net and my email recipient was username@gmail.com and this works.

From address... peter.@@@hotmail.co.uk
SMTP Server...smtp.live.com
SMTP Authentication.... Not sure what to put here, and if it should be set to basic ,Anonymous or NTLM??
