New to forums, but here goes. I have an HP quad core desktop running Vista HP SP2. I get the above error message when trying to designate my slip-in HP media drive (a 550GB removable usb drive) as the location for my backups. I use this same drive frequently for file backups (copied and pasted by windows) and it is my preferred location for Ghost recovery points. Windows obviously writes to this drive perfectly well. Any ideas?
