So i have a Laptop hdd in a USB external enclosure. What I did was create an exact clone of my existing laptop HDD to my external USB harddrive. Ghost executed this and made it through the prompts succesfully. After installing the new cloned harddrive into my laptop I booted up into Windows XP home edition and it just hangs up before the login screen. I tried to do a fixboot and also a repair off of the installation CD. This did not work to fix it.
Why is Ghost not able to make a bootable clone to an external USB HDD ?? If there is another way what is it ?
