Again I have to turn to the board for some advice. It seems that something happened to the PERMISSIONS in the REGISTRY, for I am having problems with trying to RECOVER FILES from within WIN 7.
Worked before .. all of a sudden it does not. I can do a BACKUP, but it used to be that I would just double click on the External Drive backup file, and it would open the particular backup window (asking for the password) and then the contents of the backup file, ready to select the restorable files in question. NOW IT DOES NOT ..
And from the main Ghost menu if I attempt to select Recover Files and Folders it MOMENTARILY tries to open the file off the External HD .. but then just reverts to the menu page. It shows me the available restore points, and if I select one, it will ask for the password, but then nothing happens .. and on the top left corner the Restore Files menu is grayed out.
Can anyone point me to the right KEY(S) in the REGISTRY as to where to change the PERMISSIONS that affects this aspect of Ghost 15?
