I bought Norton Ghost last week because I wanted to clone by existing OS HDD to a newer, bigger one. I was successful in doing that, but now I have two new issues. Can someone please offer any assistance?
I started out with the new hard drive as "Unallocated", and proceeded to clone my existing (250GB) to the new HDD (500GB). The first issue I have is that the new hard drive now has two partitions on it. One partition is the clone, and exactly the other half of the 500GB's has another "Unallocated" partition on it. How can I delete that partition???
The other issue is that my BIOS sees the new cloned HDD as the original 250GB, and has only assigned just 250GB to it. Did I do something wrong? How can I get the BIOS to 'see' the new cloned HDD? Can I use Norton for this?
