I have an ASUS UL50V laptop with Windows & Home as the operating system. The laptop also has a hidden recovery partition that can be used to restore back to factory settings. I have created separate backups of both the hidden partition and the windows partition to an external USB hard drive.
I am upgrading my hard drive (suspect the old drive will fail in the near future). New drive is barebones (unformatted & no setup disk). My question is how to restore both the hidden partition nad the windows operating system partition (in this case the C: drive). Do I simply just boot form the Norton Ghost CD and restore the hidden partition first and then the windows partition afterwards?
