When I initially enter in my SMTP settings everything seems to work fine, I receive the email showing that the settings are working but after a reboot all of the settings are erased. I'm entering the settings via the Ghost gui and haven't manually edited any config files. I've tried multiple SMTP servers, from addresses and to addresses but the result is always the same, after reboot the settings are gone.
I've seen a few threads where people mention the same problem, with Symantec Employees verifying the problem
but no fix as of yet and the threads simply die with the final message being from the thread starter. A fix or at the least an acknowledgement of a fix in progress would be appreciated.
FYI: i'm running Win 7 Pro 64bit and do have Acronis True Image WD edition installed. I have tried uninstalling Acronis but the problem persists.
