Norton Ghost 15 stops running the System Reserve Disk portion of the System Image Backup

Norton Ghost 15 is configured to create a backup of the Win 7 64 bit system drive, including the System Reserve Disk. A new base image is scheduled to be created once per month on the 1st day of the month; incremental are scheduled to run daily.

At some random date during each month, the backup of the System Reserved Disk stops running; however, the backup of the main disk (non-reserved portion) continues. On the first day of the next month, a new base will only be created for the non-reserved portion of the system drive, but no new file (incremental or base) is created for the reserved portion. In other words, on some random day, the reserved system drive portion of the backup simply stops running. To restart backup of the reserved portion, I must run a manual backup with options and select the new backup set option. No error messages are reported in the event log except for messages warning that the off iste drive is not available.

I have attached a screen shot of the backup files that NG15 has created over the last ~month. Note that the backup of the system reserved portion simply stops on July 28, 2011.

What is causing the system reserved drive portion of the backup to stop running at random intervals?
