Norton Ghost 15 to backup SQL Server Database

Hi Guys

We are using NG15 to run a nightly backup. The backup is primarily for a business critical SQL database. Within the selection list we have selected the SQL Data folder. The database is in use all day everyday, yet sometimes the backup does not run because of the following Windows Event Log:

Log Name:      Application
Source:        Norton Ghost
Date:          24/05/2012 11:59:15
Event ID:      100
Task Category: High Priority
Level:         Information
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:      VENUSSRV
Description:
Info 6C8F1C69: A file and folder backup completed successfully. However, no files were backed up because none of the source files have changed since the last backup.

I'm guessing this is because sometimes the database files within the folder can take some time for it's Date Modified value to update, how can we set NG15 to take a full backup every evening regardless?

I also tried to change the selection from the SQL Server Data folder to the .MDF and .LDF files themselves, but I just keep getting the message:

You don't have permission to open the file.

Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permissions.

The user I am logged in as is a local admin, can anyone suggest how to get round this?

Kind Regards

Craig
