Hello,
I have the same and exact error message and problem than this guy.
Same OS (Windows 7 ULTIMATE 64 bits). It's a new computer, everything works well for few weeks and I had this problem as well.
On my side, I restored a previous state of my OS. And after restoring, as soon as I wanted to enter Ghost, I had this error message.
I found the following solution, if you want to update this post (might be useful for someone who reach this post). Or maybe report it to engineer to search the reason and solve it ?
1/ Restart your computer.
2/ Rename the file In C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\AppData\Local\Symantec_Corporation\VProConsole.exe_Url_jso5c1hhxsxpg1j3keflwc5hvmejybwq\9.0.0.0\user.config
to "old_user.config" for example.
3/ Open Ghost
"user.config" is reconstructed automatically.
4/ You can delete the "old_user.config"
That's all folks !
Is there any problem I might encounter in a near future with this workaround ? What is the use of this file ?
Thanks,
Peche 01
