Norton Ghost ate my Operating System!! Help!!!

First of all, I am not a computer guru, so feel free to explain it to me like a newby.  Anyways, last night I decided to clone my hard drive onto an external Western Digital MyBook.  I don't know why I chose clone over backup image, I guess I wanted everything to be copied exactly to the MyBook.  I've done this once before when I first bought Norton Ghost two years ago.

So, I thought I did everything right, clone this drive, etc.  Then, I picke the drives to clone, and the destination drive -then went to bed.  Well, this morning my computer said 'MISSING OPERATING SYSTEM _'   I thought that was kind of disturbing.

I'm at work right now so I don't know what version of Ghost (probably 10).  I didn't make a Ghost backup disk, because it didn't work when I tried.  And lastly, when I tried to boot from other devices I got the same msg from all of them 'MISSING OPERATING SYSTEM'.  Also, I don't even own a Windows CD (which I could probably get).  Oh, and F10 (system recovery) doesn't work, yay..

HOW DO I REVERSE THIS MESS?!?
