Hi, I recently bought a new laptop (Windows 7), with 250GB HDD. I also bought Ghost 15.0 and a 120GB Vortex SSD drive. I put the SSD drive in a caddy, hooked up via USB.
My aim is to replace my HDD with my SSD
I installed Ghost, and chose to copy entire drive from HDD to SSD. First tho, I had to initialize the SSD disk in Disk Management before Windows would recognize it.
I copied MBR, set as active partition and the copy was successful.
I removed my HDD, took the SSD out of the caddy and installed it in the laptop.
I persistently get "BOOTMGR is missing, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart"
Clearly I've done something wrong, can anyone help ?
The old HDD works if I put it back in - but I don't have any Windows 7 disks with my laptop.
