Does Norton Ghost automatically delete old backups as it continues the cycle of backing up? If not, there are a bunch of different files in my backup folder, how do I know which ones I can safely delete to get rid of old backups and not mess up current backups?
Thanks, I've made that change. I'd rather it update it because I don't know which files I can delete or not w/o causing problems. There are .sv2i files, v2i, iv2i, etc. Some of these appear to be the initial backup and some are the incremental portions, and w/o knowing which are which, I'd rather Ghost just manage it. So, I've set a threshold and told it to manage it itself. We'll see if that works.
Thanks,
Jesse
hey dude you can also troubleshoot your issue by simply updating your ghost script to erase old backup and restore it with new image.
