When I first got my mom's computer Dell put Norton Ghost on the computer taking half or a third of her hard drive for some partition(I think that's the correct wording) from being used for normal stuff without telling us or asking us if we wanted it. So I uninstalled Norton Ghost and it seemed like that got rid of the program but the harddrive is still partitioned. When I asked Dell for help they said I'd need to buy something just to get the parition back how bs is that? To claim I have to buy something for a program that they put on my computer without even asking me and that I wouldn't have wanted in the first place. I sure hope this isn't true.
My question is will the Norton removal tool that I downloaded to help me with my problems with NIS 2004 work with giving my mom her full HDD space back? I can always reinstall the NIS 2007 we have on the computer.
