So here is a perplexing problem for the community: when I purchased a computer of mine it came with two recovery dvds which upon examination were just ghost images that I could use to recover my computer if it ever bricked itself. Now that moment has come but the discs do not work. It goes like this I insert the first dvd and reboot my computer after a few seconds it starts to boot from the disc and attempts to load a floppy driver and a cd driver. Now it will do nothing for a minute or so then, a message will appear saying it failed to load the cd driver and the screen will go blank. Then another screen will say I am all set and that I am to remove the disc and reboot, even though it clearly has not done anything. I have not changed my disc drive since I bought the computer and since I do not own Norton ghost nor am I able to do anything to the disc I have no solution. I hope I have made myself clear. Any questions or solutions to this matter would be most appreciated.
