Ok, I backed up my entire C and D drives with operating system (Vista) successfully, made the SRD successfully, installed a new motherboard and cpu successfully, and ran the SRD with no immediate problems. I will note that I fell asleep during the ending process and awoke to the sound of my CD/DVD drive opening and the computer restarting. The problem is that my computer keeps restarting over and over again after only showing the Microsoft Corporation bar with the green meter for a few seconds. I also installed a new hard drive and I have three external hard drives connected via USB. Should I unplug those? I ran the system check and everything passed but it said a patch is preventing the system from loading correctly. What did I do wrong? I have so much stuff backed up on my external drive and I don't want to have to go through all of that over again. Can anyone help with this?
