Norton Ghost v 15 Incremental Backups?

Windows XP SP3

Norton Ghost v 15.0.1.36526

External Hard Drive is backup destination

 

Last Sunday, Apr 3, I performed a Full System Backup of 'C' Drive. I scheduled it to run the first of every month. Today I wanted to do an Incremental Backup, but wound up with another full backup (.v2i file extension again). So how the heck do I get NG to do only an incremental? What am I doing wrong?

 

Would someone please give me step by step instructions in layman's terms.

 

Also, when I go to the Home Page of NG, it states: Status Details - "No Recovery Points Exist for [Barb Backup Drive] [K:\]" It then states that I should run the Define Backup Wizard and then run the backup to create a current recovery point. However, when it was running this backup, the screen showed 'creating recovery point'. What part of all this don't I understand :smileysad: ?
