Hi I am trying to get my site verified but am having trouble with uploading to my root folder via ftp.
Problem being that it just doesn't show up when I test it to see if it was successful?
I tried doing the meta tag into my code but that proved disastrous. In my panic during which I managed to lock myself out of my cms and have my website disappear. I pasted the whole meta tag to my forum i go to for help. Will this pose a security risk? I didn't realise they were unique and didn't change.
Also can anyone help with regards to how I am to get the verification file to upload properly. I am uploading it into my public_html
