Some days the Norton icon appears twice in my taskbar. Is the programme running twice or is it an anomaly I can ignore?

Hi the small yellow square is now showing a circle with small squares inside. This is not the usual icon I have.

I have noticed that the icon in my tray has changed and I do not know why. Can anyone help?

Hi,
That usually means that you need to right click on the icon and select open the program. There should be a message very visible then telling you what the program feels you need to do.

Hi Dottilind,

 

As MehulBhai mentioned, knowing which product and version you have would be helpful.

 

Also, if you could post a screen shot of the icon, that would get you the quickest answer.

C an someone please tell me if Norton have changed desktop icon from circle with rugby ball lines inside to circle with squares inside. I have asked this question before but I lost thread.
