I currently use KeePassX [http://www.keepassx.org/] to manage my usernames and passwords. A great feature of KeePassX is that it is available for Windows and Android operating systems. This makes it convenient for me to look up my usernames and passwords on my Android mobile phone while I am working at a public or guest computer or browsing directly on the phone.
In considering the Norton Identity Safe feature of Norton Security Suite it seems to be limited to Microsoft Windows systems that have Norton Security Suite installed. This would prevent me from being able to quickly lookup account information on my Android-based phone even if I have a copy of the identity safe file.
Is it correct that I would be able to access the Norton Identity Safe data only on Windows computers that have Norton Security Suite installed?
If so, is there an alternative way of working with Norton Identity Safe that would be convenient for when I use public computers or smartphone browsers?
Does Norton have any plans to port Identity Safe to Android, Windows Phone 7, or another platform?
