I have 2 computers, both were running Windows 7 and latest version of NIS. (3 user license version)
1 computer just received a clean install of Windows 8, and I installed NIS (using up my last user license)
On this Windows 8 PC, with all the latest NIS updates, I then attempted to logon to Identity safe and my password vault.
I logged on to my Norton Account, and when I attempted to login to the vault, I received a communication error which advised me to check my internet connection.
I knew my connection was fine, I just updated Windows 8 and even downloaded and installed the latest version of NIS.
When I logged on to the Vault after the communications error, all my passwords were gone.
That was on Sunday. Today, Tuesday morning, when I logged on to the other computer I have that is still running Windows 7 and had no problems before Sunday, the vault was empty, and ALL my password data is gone.
Apparently my Norton account is now associated with a new vault profile on the Symantec server that is empty.
How can I get my account associated with my old vault profile, that contains all my data?
Also, how can I switch back to the local vault, as the cloud based vault doesn't seem as reliable as it should be.
Thanks.
