Norton Identity Safe not prompting for log in

Norton Identity Safe is not prompting for log in and is asking to save already saved credentials. This occurs in the following scenario:

A web browser (Chrome) is open displaying a webpage where the login information is filled automatically by Norton. The user has not logged in that page and the PC goes to sleep mode. When resumed from sleep mode, the login info is still filled (boxes appear green) and the user attempts to log in. Logging in is successful but Identity Safe asks to save the login information and does not prompt to validate your password again, making impossible to enter automatically other sites, unless the web browser is restarted.

Is anybody aware of this bug? Does this happen only to me? Could there be something wrong with my configuration? It’s not a big deal, but still annoying and maybe a little bit risky.

Hi Tzon89,

In NIS 2012 (19.5.0.145)   we have option to check/uncheck the option for  "Ask for my password upon resuming from suspend" under NIS Main UI -> Setting -> Web ->Identity Safe->Login to identity safe ->Password & Security

Could you uncheck that option and check the behavior again?.

Thanks,

Senthil.

Wow! Many updates in one day! I had to restart my PC 3 times to reach version 19.5.

Yes, problem solved after update. Now Identity Safe is asking to validate password. The only thing remaining is that the password field that was auto-completed before sleep mode still contains the login information after resuming and the website can be accessed without validation. But it doesn't bother me that much...
