While using Google Docs on my phone, there is a Norton notification saying “Norton Identity Safe Service Interrupted” which interferes with my ability to type using a standard keyboard (or any keyboard located at the bottom of the screen). This message appeas to be triggered with every keystroke inside a Google Doc, and normally lasts several seconds. On my old phone which was running KitKat this notification also appeared, but on that phone I was still able to press the keyboard keys through the notification (though I was unable to see which keys I was pressing); with my new phone which is running Marshmallow, however, I can do neither - the keys under that notification are not pressable. In an attempt to be able to type in a Google Doc today on my new phone, I went into settings>accessibility and turned off the identity safe service (even though I would prefer to have it on) but surprisingly when I went back to my Google Doc, this notification still occurred. (I did not try closing and reopening any apps, or restarting my phone at that point; I went back in and turned the service back on.)
This issue has been going on for some time, though it has taken a nastier turn with my new phone, and I would be happy to provide additional information if it would be helpful in getting it addressed.
Also, I saved a screenshot of the problem and was planning to upload it, but the “Choose File” button below isn’t doing anything when I click it. I am using the browser built into Norton Identity Safe to make this post.

Did the latest update to Identity Safe fix your issue? It did for me.
@Anon Safe Web
Does the latest update to ID Safe fix the issue with your Med Helper app?

Thanks, Permalink. That would be great.
I'll try to get an update on this issue.
I've been having a similar problem when using the app Med Helper. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running marshmallow. Whenever I try to change date or time details for medication taken, it comes up with "Norton....interrupted". I've just turned off this app in accessibility settings as suggested previously, but would obviously prefer a solution to this problem too. Anon Safe Web
Norton, any idea when this problem will be fixed?
Sorry if this is inappropriate to ask that question.
@Brianna,we are sorry for the inconvenience created.
We could able to reproduce the issue in our test devices,we are looking in to the issue for a fix.
For now we recommend you to perform the below mentioned workaround which could eliminate this notification from occurring.
Workaround :
1. Once if you get the notification like “ Norton identity safe is interrupted “,please turn off the accessibility for identity safe via settings.
Turn off via ,Settings > Accessibility > Norton identity safe services
2. Please note that if you turn off the accessibility via Identity safe app,the issue will still remain.
Note : We have checked this in Samsung Galaxy J7,issue doesn’t occur if turning off accessibility from the settings.
We soon will come up with a fix, thanks so much for notifying us.

Here is the screenshot I sent to Norton.

Android version 6.0.1, Samsung Galaxy J7. Thank you for passing this along. Did you also test / try to reproduce my problem on the forum here where I can't upload a file attachment because the Choose File button does nothing? Just curious about that one; I'm far more concerned about the other issue. Thanks.
Welcome @Brianna
I just tested on my HTC phone with Android 4.4.2 and I get the same results you see.
I'll pass this along to Norton.
Can you post back with your device information? make and model, Android version.
