Norton Identity wipes out all passwords!

Because of the unfailing and daily demands for "You must restart your system" every time I have installed NIS above 2013.4.0.10, I refuse to upgrade and uninstall and re-install 2013.4.0.10 every single day.

Today, when the force update appeared (as it does on a daily basis) and I entered my password, it asked to enter the password again and then for a password hint. I thought it odd, as it has not done so before, so I followed the directions. When I finally logged back in, EVERY SINGLE password had been wiped out. With over 200 passwords, this became the ultimate nightmare!

I uninstalled the updated version and reinstalled old faithful 2013.4.0.10, only to have to run through the entire "set-up" again: email, password, confirm password, password hint, but still not a single password was available - everything was a total blank.

Granted I have a backup from July 20, 2014 (thank heavens), but what about the new ones or ones that were edited in the past three weeks? All gone!

It's bad enough I can't use the latest version because of constant reboots (it NEVER loads and ALWAYS asks for a reboot), but I am used to the uninstall - reinstall routine. Now what is going on? Will all my passwords be wiped out on a daily basis as well?

I can't believe Symantec took another great product (Identity Safe 2013) and made another buggy program...

Also, my password for the Community no longer worked and had to reset that! Now, when I tried to post, I received the message: Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied.

I had NO html in the message...

EDIT TO ADD: I see there was a new update for the toolbar - well this new update is what wiped all my passwords...
