Norton Insight inconsistent with Norton Security - GoogleUpdate.dll

Norton Security will block and remove virus files that Norton File Insight only qualifies as 'Unproven'.    'Unproven' is a severe understatement.  The files involved are trojans.  This particular instance of the file should be identified by Insight as a malicious trojan.

I'm running Norton Security with Backup (NSBU) 22.2.0.31. On 6/3 it caught the file GoogleUpdate.dll -
11:03:13 googleupate.dll blocked/removed as SAPE.ExtenBro.4
11:03:56: liveUpdate; Intrusion Prevention monitor: driver: 14.4.0.24; engine: 7.3.0.17; defs: 20150602.001
I've been tracking this infection on my PC since 2/25.  Only after update to the 20150602.001 definitions was the trojan .dll caught.

File Insight is still, 6/14, identifying GoogleUpdate.dll as
Version 37.0.2013.0           Identified 6/3/15 12:00p
Very Few Users, Very New, Unproven

FYI: There is a second trojan file, chrome.dll that NSBU is not catching.  The two files are part of Google Chrome extension attack.  Without GoogleUpdate.dll the trojan chrome.dll is benign.  See the Chrome Issue report 488356  (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=488356) for details.  The trojan files are available there.
