I keep getting messages like “an intrustion attempt by 24.151.8.211 was blocked.” Application path System. It says that the risk name is “portscan” and it was attacking UBP port 53. It says it was blocked, but I just want to make sure that this won’t affect my computer at all. I also noticed that when this message does come up every few days, it is always the same IP address attacking me. How can i avoid future attempts by this person? Also, it says in the history "intrustion prevention is monitoring “x” number of signatures. Driver version: x.x.x.x. What does all this mean? How can i avoid it in the future? I use Norton Internet Security 2009.
