Norton Internet Security 2007 full scan won't run

Norton has been running great but starting last night we can't run a full scan.  Whenever we try to run it we are redirected to a Norton Help and Support page that has nothing to do with running a full scan except that it wants us to renew our subscription.  We still have 16 days left on our subscription and I purchased NIS 2009 about a week ago but haven't installed it yet. 


I can run a quick scan and everything seems to be running except for the full scan mode.  Does NIS 2007 full scan stop functioning if you are close to renewing your subscription?

 

I have no other AV or spyware software running and my OS is Vista SP1.

 

I would like to wait another week or so before upgrading to NIS 2009 but I really would like to be able to do a full scan.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
