Hi, i have got a problem re-installing my Norton Internet Security 2008. I have the file downloaded on my Desktop supplied my ISP and installation starts as normal, i agree the terms and conditions and within say 5-10 seconds the installation window just closes without any notice. I have noticed a problem installing another program also where by the same thing happens soon into installation
My Norton Internet Security 2008 appeared to be working ok, i infact only did a full scan yesterday and that was clear. I however noticed a problem when trying to do a live update, this happened umpteen times whereby i was getting the message "Automatic Liveupdate Scheduler Service has encountered a problems and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience" I therefore decided to uninstall Norton Internet Security 2008 with a view to reinstalling it and correcting this Liveupdate problem. I can now not reinstall Norton Internet Security 2008 :(
I am operating in windows XP
Please please help me, i have had Norton Internet Seurity for 4 years and never had any problems before.
