Norton Internet Security 2009 & Juniper Nerwork Connect & Remote Desktop

Hi all,

I have a trial of NIS 2009.

I use remote desktop sometimes to connect to my office PC.

I do this by firstly going to here: http://ssl-ams.seagate.com/ , logging in and then the Juniper Virtual network adapter kicks in (Juniper Network Connect).

When Juniper is logged in...I can visit internal work sites...but- Remote desk top doesn't work...it tells me that the destination is unreachable.

Also... when I ping my work PC... it says the same.

I've uninstalled NIS 2009 and remote desktop works ok?... it also pings ok?

Is there any way I can get this to work with NIS installed?

Thanks loads

Did you tried to change the permissions in the firewall settings?

Thanks loads Papauz... it worked a treat.

  • I  went into Internet settings
  • Clicked "Configure" in the program control tab.
  • I highlighted "Network Connect Application" (which also shows the Juniper Lock symbol)
  • Clicked the Modify button
  • Then in the communications tab... I set it to allow all communications on all ports.

Thanks again,

Shay
