Norton Internet Security 2009 - Symantec Framework Service has stopped

Hi all,

 

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this annoying issue but I have basically followed the following thread thoroughly:

This thread was, what I thought, going to solve my problem but it seems I'm suffering from a slightly different Norton disorder.

 

In a nutshell, the email integration does not seem to be causing a problem, but everytime I open the Network Map configuration tool within Norton Internet Security within seconds, the framework crashes.

 

System Information

Dell XPS 730x

Windows Vista-64 Ultimate Edition

Outlook/Office 2007

Norton Internet Security 2009

 

Network

1) OnBoard NIC 1: Not Used

2) OnBoard NIC 2: Not Used

3) BigFoot Killler NIC: Used

 

Any help in solving this issue greatly appreciated.
