I have installed Norton Internet Security 2010 on a client computer running XP Pro SP3, which is connected to a LAN running Windows Small Business Server 2003. I use PCLaw on the computer, which uses a database stored on the server and shared with other users (which is an appropriate configuration for PCLaw). When I attempt to use PCLaw, the computer is unresponsive in processing some commands and hangs on every "save and close" command used to exit each main screen in PCLaw. I have tried excluding the network drive and the PCLaw software on the computer from scanning; that results in some improvement overall, but very little, and PCLaw still hangs on every "save and close" command. The problem is exactly as described in the thread titled "NAV 2009 Network Freezes." Has any solution for this issue been found?
