How well do they work together?

I am running Windows Vista 64 bit Home Premium Edition. I already have trouble when I run/compile with MiniGW.

Will I have ANY trouble with Visual Studio 2008 Pro or ANY trouble running programs made in VS2008 Pro?

I am also thinking about upgrading to Windows 7. If I did would I have trouble with VS2008 Pro?

Are there any Norton Internet Security 2010 and Visual Studio 2008 users on this forum that are having trouble with them working together? Or any other users that have had zero trouble like PapauZ?
